What is a "look"? 
A look indicates an outfit change.

 What does a wardrobe stylist do? 
A wardrobe stylist will bring clothing, shoes, and/or accessories to your session in the style requested to achieve the looks we are going for. Hiring a wardrobe stylist is a stress free way to make sure your looks are modern and up to date.

Do I need to bring my own makeup?
If you are selecting a session including a makeup artist, the artist brings all of the necessary product. 45-60 minutes is allotted for hair and makeup, so be mindful of that when thinking about hair styles/changes. The artist will stay the duration of the photoshoot and make changes to the hair and makeup as necessary. If you are choosing a session without a makeup artist, please arrive with your hair and makeup ready to go, and bring some powder and hairspray to keep your look polished throughout the session. A special note for men: while a hair and makeup artist may seem excessive, it really does pull the shoot together and is recommended on all sessions. 

Do I need to book my own wardrobe stylist or makeup artist?
I will schedule the wardrobe stylist and/or makeup artist. You don't need to worry about coordinating schedules. It is all taken care of for you. Note that some wardrobe stylists require a non-refundable deposit.

What is the turn around time like?
I will send a digital proofing gallery within 2 business days. Once you choose your edits, I will have them to you in no more than 10 business days. Expedited editing is available if requested at the time of booking and is subject to a $50 fee.

Know what looks you want to achieve, and make sure you communicate that to me and my team. Sending photos is very helpful. If you have an agency, please discuss your looks with them. They know what their clients look for and know what you need. If you do not have an agency, please feel free to ask what would be best for you and your goals in the industry. 

If you are new, please practice posing in front of a mirror and see what works for you. You want to know what you are doing. Look at current magazines to see what posing is in style now. Posing trends, just like clothing trends, do change over time.

Stay hydrated and get a good night sleep before your shoot. Take extra care to make sure your skin is well moisturized. If you color your hair, please make sure the hair color is fresh.  If you spray tan, please give it enough time to even out and look natural.
